Speedway puts the brakes on for the year.
Memphis, Mo. (March 26th, 2012) - B-47
Promotions operated by Brandon Savage regretfully has to
announce that the 2012 season at Pepsi Scotland County
Speedway will be no longer. It was shaping up to be a good
year, with positive feedback after last year’s Doc 360 Pepsi
Nationals and some new supporters coming on for the year. The
fans and drivers were ready for a partial season at the famed
racetrack, which has all been cut short by some differences in
the contract that would financially hamper the season and make
things unreachable for this year. Thanks to the fans, sponsors
and drivers that made the 2011 Doc 360 Pepsi Nationals happen,
and sorry that we couldn’t continue that into this year. I’m
sure you will see us at a track near you in the future just
not in this role unless something else was to come up. Thanks
again and wish the best of luck to all of you.
