MEMPHIS, MO (June
4, 2011) - Racing at the Scotland County Speedway has been
cancelled for tonight June 4. The scheduled 1st Annual Summer
Nationals will be held next week June 11. The track has had about
3 inches of rain Thursday and is just now starting to dry out. The
pit area is very wet and in no shape for haulers to be on.
Hope to see everyone next week!!

in Memphis, MO, but the track crew would allow that to happen.

Feature win photos
April 23 - The
races for tonight April 23, 2011 at the Scotland County Speedway
has been cancelled because of wet conditions of the pit area.
Promoter Rick Girard said the track look to be in good shape but
the pit area had a long ways to go to let any big haulers on the
grounds. We would liked to have been able to race but we will have
to wait till next week. Thanks to everyone for your patience.

March 24 -
Saturday April 2 We will be having a car show on the grounds
behind the grandstands from 900 am till 100pm. We will then open
the gates for practice from 1:00 - 5:00. Food will be available at
the car show from Homes for our troops which will consist of hot
dogs, sloppy joes, donuts. I will have the concession stand open
offering Pepsi products along with water, gaterade and energy
drinks. Candy will also be available.
Come on out for a fun day of looking at the race cars and visiting
with the drivers and watching them test and tune their machines
for free from the grandstands. There is a $ 10 per person entry
into the pit gate. So come on out and watch your favorite driver
on April 2nd.
March 16, 2011 - To kick off
the start of a new racing season, there will be a car show that
will be held at the Scotland County Speedway Saturday April 2.
Hours will be from 9am to 1pm. There will be some drawings for the
drivers.
After the car show, there will be a Test - N - Tune for ALL
classes. Gates will Open at 11 AM with Practice from 1 - 4. Again
this is for ALL classes that will be racing at the Scotland County
Speedway for the 2011 season.
So
come on out, spend the day checking out the cars and met the
drivers. Then grab a seat and watch the fast racing action during
the test n tune on the speedway.
Opening night will be Saturday April 9 - Ed's Machinery Race Night
( Memphis Mo. ) Late Model - Modified - Sport Mod - Stock
Car - Hobby Stock - 4 Cylinder - Cruiser.

MEMPHIS, MO (August 5, 2010)
- The sounds of racing will be in the air once again at the
Pepsi
Scotland County
Speedway in
Memphis, Missouri. Rick Girard - RDK Motorsports will be at the
helm for the rest of the 2010 racing season with the the first race at
the speedway to be held on August 14th.
Revised rules and schedule
will be released very soon.
Scotland County Speedway
Track Configuration is a fast 4/10 mile Semi-Banked Oval. Driving
Directions are 1.0 mile west of Memphis on US 136 to SR 15, then
east (at the Scotland County Fairgrounds)
